Chef Benji from Bodega in St. Albert is this week featured chef & will be demonstrating how to make their famous Piri-Piri prawns served with a spicy pimento aioli for an appetizer, a full Piri-Piri Portuguese style Chicken served with roasted potatoes & veggies, & a Canada day themed donut from destination doughnuts.

Bodega is a tapas wine and bar restaurant with 4 different locations. Known for their sophisticated & savoury snacks eaten in the later afternoon. This a definitely a gem in the culinary scene!!

Chef Benji has paired this featured dish with a Spanish style Blue wine Sangria, which can be added to your Chefs Kit.

Chef Lino De Oliveira is this week featured chef and will be demonstrating one of his personal favorite Father’s Day dishes. This cuisine entails how to make grilled AAA striploin, broiled Canadian lobster tail with garlic butter, accompanied with a caesar salad, hotel style mashed potatoes, and Portuguese custard tart as a dessert (all included in this week’s featured Chef’s Kit).

 

Chef Lino has paired this dish with a fruitful and silky French red wine. Chef Lino and his restaurant Sabor are a large part of the pulse in the downtown culinary scene. Chef Lino is known for using special techniques that marries Iberian flavours of Spain and Portugal using hand-selected and sustainable seafood.

Chef Levi from Why Not Cafe is this week featured chef and will be demonstrating one of his personal favourite dishes. This cuisine entails Wasabi chicken let's cups, King Salmon Udon, Pancetta Cream Sauce, Ponzu Glazed Fennel, Potato Chip & Herb crumb and Melon Mochi for dessert.

With 10 of experience in the industry, Chef Levi has many accomplishments such as appearances on Chopped Canada, Gold Metal Plates, & Canada's Great Kitchen. Awarded People’s Choice Best Food Truck in Edmonton. He as also worked at Zinc, Le Beaujolais (4 Diamond Restaurant), & Packrat Louie. 

Chef Levi has  paired this meal with one of his favourite cocktails: Uyu Yong made from Vodka, Soju, Yakult & fresh lime MUST TRY!

Chef Marco from Bottega is this week featured chef and will be demonstrating one of his personal favourite dishes. 

Bottega is a trendy Italian eatery nestled in the heart of downtown on 104th street. It is a place where many feel welcomed and at home. Bottega is known for its fresh and diverse menu which has been created by Chef Marco.

Featured weekly dish is Spaghetti Carbonara with home made pasta sauce, served with rosemary focaccia, fresh mix salad and finished with a delicious Italian pastry cream. The flavours of this cuisine is will make you wanting more.
